Mounting your 407 Transponder (or equiv)
For GTA drivers.... has anyone NOT mounted their 407 transponder on the windshield??
On my previous car, it was mounted the standard way, ie with the sticky velcro tape on the windshield...and it looked pretty crappy from the outside where you can see the tape, the white labels, etc
I need to pick up some new sticky tape for the new G, and for now its just sitting on top of the dash (in front of the speaker). As the transponder is dark, just like the graphite dash, it actually looks fine just where it is !!!.....and it works perfectly....and its a lot neater than on the windhield....so I'm thinking of just taping it right there (or behind the speaker)..... has anyone done that?? Am I nuts?

Wow, you guys are picky. I have it mounted up behind the mirror in the shaded glass. I can't see it from the drivers seat.
Works for me especially since we whip through the bridge tolls. Having the gate hit my car because I forgot to lift the transponder was all it took to mount to the windshield.
