....sorry but a day at the track just doesn't cut it.

Also one more justification for doing the Ariel Atom day

Borrowed a mount and a cam from a friend for a Saturday session. First time out with the cage so I was still feeling the car out...got quicker as the weekend progressed. I love it!

Glad you guys enjoyed it. The vid doesn't convey the G-forces acting on you but I just realized that the tethered lens cap can be seen in the mirror as a G meter! LOL!

Great ride Shane. Very nice and clean and you seemed to be able to outshine the others out there. Kudos. The car looks to handle very impressively and must have more power now. You seemed to pick up the pace after finding the turtle that one time.

Thanks for posting and giving me an 18 minute joy ride this am.

Thanks! I'm actually really hurting on power right now - the additional weight of the cage + passenger is really noticeable. I'm slower in the straights than I was last year...need to find time to get the new engine in.

Okay. Didn't realize the new engine wasn't in yet. It did sound less raspy now and slightly slower revving but probably just my imagination.

Get that new engine and you'll really shine.

I especially enjoyed watching your line through the esses....
That's where I had the most trouble being consistent.

Yeah cool. Much better in higher res. Very good driving.

Did the rocking help you get past the 911?

LOL... noticed that too.

- what class were you running?
I thought they kept dedicated track cars away from street hardware

Good question. Here at our track they had a 427 Cobra running in the advanced group DE. It was street licensed though and not just a dedicated track car.

I was running in the advanced group which allows non street cars.
