Hi...
Another question here.. i am planning to have my car windows tinted for the summer...

i have read through a couple of threads here and i am wondering what is the difference between ceramic tinting and metallic tinting??


is one better than the other??


Is it possible that someone can post a picture of each.. ....

Metallic Tint can interfere with radio and navigation signals.
Ceramic prevents any signal lose.

 

I have FormulaOne ceramic tint in 35 all around on my car. My radio works fine. I also find it to be less glare-y when lights shine thru my tint.

Personally I prefer the color of the ceramic tint more ... my tint has a very slight tea color to it vs the grayish color of metallic. I think it looks great on my Ivory Pearl G.

Neither is really better, pick the one you like the hue of the most. Almost all 100% metallics will not interfere with radio signal or keyless entry anymore

 

i think the colour that shows from the tint will base alot on the interior of the car. Me and two other buddies got the exact same tint on all three cars:

My interior is burnt orange
another was black/white
another was black leather.

All three of our tints looks like a different colour when we're looking at the cars side by side.

We all have Formula One 35% Ceramic Tints btw.

 

after reading some more threads here.. i have decided to go with AudioHeaven..

just called and made an appointment with Jeff for next Saturday..
will post some pictures after the job is done...
