I don't remember who said it, but it's so true.

I'm using Napa pads. They are chamfered.
The noise is more of a fast ticking sound when the slots hit the pads. EBC slots are a little too wide, I read other reviews about their noise problem but unfortunately not until after I had installed them.
Its good to hear that yours are quiet, I will probably get a set soon.

DBA rotors...
Hey guys. How are the DBA rotors holding out? I'm in need of some new rotors and these look nice. I need them for my 2005 M6 G.
I live near Markham Infiniti so I guess I'll check them out for a price quote as Agincourt Infiniti don't exist anymore.
Are they really betting then stock? Any review on them would be great.
Thanks

I look back and now I wish I had waited for the G37 brake kit that is available for out cars. Its a larger rotor and caliper but it will fit the car with a modified bracket....remember that I am running 20" rims so the DBA rotors look kind of small
Stay away from the stealerships if you are going aftermarket...they charge too much!!!!
Try Simone Performance in Newmarket, thats where I got mine.
35Bills,
Thanks for the reply bro.
Do you drive your car in the winter and if you do are there any issues or concerns that I should be aware of with the DBA rotors?
I'm trying to debate if I should go with the DBA or STOPTECH brand.
Any suggestions on which make and which model I should get. I'm just an every day driver so I don't need anything fancy for the track. Looking for the crossed/slotted look though of course. Also are they the same size as my current rotors?
Again this is for my 2005 M6 coupe.
Cheers!

The only issue that I have is with the "hat"...its covered with a zinc coating but I guess over the past year, it looks like it has deteriorated.
They are the same size as OEM rotors.
Are you looking for an entire brake kit or just rotors?
I'm using the XS 4000 series rotor....crossed and slotted...http://www.dba.com.au/product_search_dev.php
I cant say anything about Stoptech as I don't know the product. I know that they make great "Big Brake" upgrades though.

I'm just looking for the rotors for my car. Where did you get them at as I called Markham Infiniti and they said they don't carry them at all and Aginicourt Infiniti don't exist anymore. I like the price that you paid which is fair for them. I spoke with several shops and they are asking $165 each for the slotted ones only that are from the 4000 series. Can you advise where you got them so I can give them a call?
Now when you say the HAT deteriorated your saying the yellow is all gone and is rust now?
Thanks
