The salesman from my local used car dealer told me that every 03/04 G35 Coupe owner can get a one time free software update for their Nav system ...does anybody know if this is true or he was just saying whatever?


if it is true.. do we just go back to any dealer and ask for a new DVD?!?!?

Infiniti should have sent you a letter telling you the details. Just go on the www.zenrin.com web site and fill out the form to receive the update. They should have your VIN # on file because they know every car that has been updated and which ones have not.

It will take 2-3 weeks to get the disk.

 

Dont they charge on that website? Like $190 or something for the 6.5 disc?

So anybody knows if I can copy the disc and use the backup one in case if i scratch the original one?

Yep, Canada only. Just look on the site.

Why would you scratch it. You put it in the Nav and never touch it again unless you update it again.

 

It's only free for the first order. Future updates you will pay full price. They have your VIN so they know. There's a member on here that makes backups of the latest DVD's for a small fee.

Yes only one time upgrade for Canadians. I filled out the form on their site, then contacted Zenrin directly, they said my car was out of warranty so I didn't qualify for a free DVD upgrade. 2 week passes by and I received the latest NAV disc in the mail! I was suprised.
