07 sedan grill fix... for GTA

FWIW....
I was in to get my aero sills wrapped by Mark from Chipguard this a.m.

A couple of things...

1. He's back in the GTA operating out of;
Trimline of MetroWest
1510 Drew Rd. Unit 16
Mississauga, Ontario L5S 1W7
Toll Free Office 1-888-694-7777
Local (905) 792-8746

2. He's looking at making a grill template for the 07 sedan.
- that should solve the dreaded pitting problems.

That's very good to know Ian. The grille is the only thing that I don't like about my 07. I love the style of the grille, however the quality is rather **** poor.

It would be great if Infiniti would step up to the plate on this issue, but I doubt it.
Mark was saying he's seeing more of this with other mfgs as well.
Once the template is made up they'll filter though to the local reps.
If I hear more I'll post it up.

That does sound like such a good idea. I will take a good look at mine tomorrow, I haven't noticed any problem so far, but maybe I better have a closer look.

Yeah, I would like to see Infiniti issue a fix for it as well, but like you, I doubt it will happen. Even if my dealer replaces my grille, it's just gonna happen again. If you hear anything more about the template, let me know.

Wayne, everytime I wash my G, I see more pitts in the grille. It sucks.

Shane, that too bad. They must have a vendor providing them with inferior quality grilles. Hopefully they will have a fix for this.

I just realized Mark must be working with his brother John again. I have had my last two cars done by John. They certainly do great work.

I just tried contacting their website, it doesn't work anymore. I want to set up an appointment for a friend for clear-bra. I'll call later. Thanks again for the info Ian.

Roy I just got a price today for a friends big Cadillac from 3M Trimlines and for a full bumper wrap it is $400 and for the fenders and hood $250 and it takes about 3 hours for the full treatment.

The two brothers Mark and John have merged back together there and they both do great work.

No not yet I had some other expenses come up, plus the guy doing the paint job is painting my Bro's Maxima now. I'll probably get it all done in June.
