Hotchkis Sway Bar Help

Hey Guys,

Need a bit of advice. I will be taking delivery of my Hotchkis Sway Bar set by Friday according to UPS. For those who have them can you tell me what the best setting is for street use. I have no intention to track this car yet.

Front can be set +9%, +32% or +63%
Rear can be set +54%, +92% or +146%

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks,

Ken

most use med/med for daily driving which is not too soft or hard. you won't feel any difference if you go soft in the front. and hard/hard is prolly best for track.

The front's are 4 way adjustable now:

(from Hotchkis website)
Bar Rates:
350Z & 03- 05 G35 Front

Hole 1 = 1525 lbs/in (22% Stiffer than stock)

Hole 2 = 1845 lbs/in (48% Stiffer than stock)

Hole 3 = 2270 lbs/in (82% Stiffer than stock)

Hole 4 = 2855 lbs/in (129% Stiffer than stock)

Rear:

Hole 1 = 520 lbs/in (80% Stiffer than stock)

Hole 2 = 655 lbs/in (125% Stiffer than stock)

Hole 3 = 840 lbs/in (185% Stiffer than stock)

Right now I'm running hole 3 in front and 1 in the back, made a big improvement in handling.

Woodman,

Much appreciated your input. I ordered my sway bars from EverythingG35.com and it did not mention the 4th hole on their site but I guess I will find out on Friday. I'll try what you did and go from there. Should be a big change from stock going to these sways, G35 Tein S-Techs and Tokico 5 way adjustable shocks & Camber/Toe kit.

I'll post my impressions and pics once I get all my new toys installed.

Any thoughts on a good BBK that won't kill me financially??
