Ive actually reset my batter on the CD ERROR FO error plenty of times, and have been using the CD player fine on my 2003 G35. Had this error the first time well over a year ago, and still on the same BOSE HU.

mine crapped out on me in less than a year....i went to the dealership and had them replace it...oh crap...my car is almost a year old....3 more days...

I will try the reset method and see how long it would last.

Look online to see if anyone is selling theirs...Most guys that put after market stereo will usually be selling their stock unit...GL...
