Angry It finally happened!

So my Bose CD changer decided to crap out on me. The CD error FO sign keeps showing up. I did a search and it seems like I have to replace my cd player. Is there anyway to fix it? If not, I guess I will have to do a DD conversion. Boy this really sucks!!! Sorry, just had to vent!

Really? Does the comprehensive 48 month warranty not cover the CD player?

If he's within the 4 year period pending he has not gone over the mileage limit, he should be ok.

That's what I thought. You made me think something different with your earlier post.

Try and ECU reset (or 2) -- or battery disconnect-- I've heard from other members that that can fix it temporaily.....but don't expect it to be a long term fix. sorry.

If you are close to the expiry date of your warranty and have a good relationship with your dealer, he may be able to help you.
This issue is very common on our G's.

Get in touch with him and have a talk......you might get lucky.....

Talk to Jerry...

My decided to crap out on me too - I tried alot of the suggestions posted here, but in the end, it had to be replaced. 401/Dixie gave me a hard time about it, saying that if I had been using burned CDs it would be harmful to the Cd player. In the end Yorkville (formerly Jerry's haunt) did the swap lickety split for me. Mine's a 2004 coupe... don't know if that makes a difference.
