Hello Guys..

another newbie question here....

A friend of mine told me that its better to go with the synthetic Engin oil than the semi-synthentic oil.
So I went to Canadian Tire today and they told me that all the standard bottle comes in 4.4L but then it seems like my 04 G35Coupe 5AT needs 4.7 L

so does it mean that I need to buy some small bottles to fill it up to 4.7 L or one bottle of 4.4L will do just fine???


also.. can anydboy tell me whats the best brand? Is it Castrol or Mobil?!??!?

A quick search will turn up eleventy bazillion hits on this topic. Give it a whirl.

 

Get one 4.4l bottle and one 1l bottle and fill to the top. I'm **** about it myself.....and I've used Castrol syntec and Mobil one. Either one suits me.

I think I saw at Cdn Tire a 'special' where they sell a 4.4 with a 1 litre attached as a package. Custom-made!

Personally, I bought a case of 1 litre bottles of Amsoil synth.

 

Yes, that's more and more common these days.....

I usually wait for a decent sale, and buy in bulk too. Having oil and filters in stock is a must for me.....
