Thumbs up Thanks Guys!

With all of the nonsense and drama that happens in other sections of the forum (Socal, Offtopic, Politics, etc) here, I am always glad to come back to the Canadian section. In 3 1/2 years of being on this forum, I can't honestly recall one issue here in this section.

To all you guys that participate in this section of the forum, thanks for making it a friendly, positive, and sane place to visit day after day. You guys rock!

Thumbs up

That's a thoughtful post Shane. I'm strongly inclined to agree. Great bunch of folks on here. The Canada section is an oasis of sanity, help and fun.

Sounds like the US vs Canada in general. I always like it up there better.

But come on Shane, admit it...what would you do without a daily dose of drama from the Off-Topic and Politics section?
No one does it like we do South of the 45th Parallel!

I come visit the Canada sub-forums for the fresh northern air, the smell of pine trees, and civilized discussion from you fine gents.

Well, sorta, but not really. If I had included everything south of the 49th parallel, that would have included a few of Canada's largest cities. I was trying to define the US, so I wanted to leave those Canadian cities out of it.
The 45th parallel looks like the best fit, according to this picture...
But I know the western States all fit along the 49th parallel. I just wanted to leave Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec City out.

Ha Ha thats funny!!! A few years ago my parents were puuled over by the local popo in Quebec. The officer asked my mom where she was from( Ontario). She blurbed out that she couldn't wait to get back to Canada...

I see what you are trying to get at.
