I'm with ING Insurance. I'll post my rate once I hear back from my rep. By the way, not to crowd you, but I'll be in Cambridge Feb 14th weekend. Taking the wife to Langdon Hall for a weekend getaway. I'm not sure how many Silverstone G35c there are in Cambridge, but keep an eye out, and I'll do the same!

I'm 21, and have an at-fault accident about 4 years ago (kinda serious one), my insurance for g35 coupe is $3900/year, I'm surprised when they quote me near $4000, i mean my previous Prelude's insurance was above 6k... (and yes, i am the primary driver for my coupe)
Re: insurance G35c??
Neohh,
Not that I doubt what you're saying ... but I still can't believe it. I just moved out of Ontario to Nova Scotia ... I'm 23, a doctor, no accident claims .. and in Nova Scotia I'm paying about $3100/year. When I inquired about insurance in Toronto the lowest rate I got was $5900 .. and that was with a large group discount. There's got to be some catch here ... a 21 y/o with an at fault claim getting primary insurance for $3900 !!? Do share!

Wel, i know it sounds like it's too good to be true, but at least that is what my parents said (i'm still a student, so can't afford the insurance myself after throwing all my money in bank and stock market into this car)... I was as surprised as you are when they tell me this... I'm definetely the primary driver for my G though because i have 3 cars in my house and only me, my dad and my sister have license... The insurance company tell my dad that my insurance dropped that much is because of i am turning 21 and had no accident as a primary driver for 3 years, they said their company policy drop the insurance rate a lot when a primary driver that is insured with them turns 21... Anywayz, i will check on this since everyone i told think it is impossible... Or maybe my dad is confused and it is 3800 for 6 month?! I'll check the bills thing to make sure and let you guys know... Since i don't believe my insurance will be that low either...
Re: insurance G35c??
The reason you get lower rate is... your family has 3 cars.
You will get cheaper rate if it is the 2nd car in your house cuz the family members will share the car.
And I'm 21, has 2 no-fault accident in past 2 years, paying $6300/yr.......

I pay $116/month including tax... I live in Ottawa, 29 male, no claims or tickets........... got it through Meloche Monnex, they have pretty good group discount rates for university alumni and students...
Re: insurance G35c??

Is that for a coupe or sedan? I'm also with Meloche Monnex and I'm paying $140/month for 2 drivers and I'm in Toronto.

Re: insurance G35c??
Bobby,
This is for a Coupe, $300 comprehensive/$500deductible...before I finalized on the car I got insurance rates for both sedan and the coupe, surprisingly there is not much difference in rates between coupe or sedan, they gave me a rate of $114 for sedan (vs. $116 for coupe).... but remember this is for a single driver in Ottawa, you have 2 people on your insurance and you live in Toronto...

Re: insurance G35c??
With a single driver I would be paying just about the same as you. Also, Toronto should be more expenssive over Ottawa. Seems fair enough!
Thanks

Re: insurance G35c??
Hey Guys,
Im 24 from Richmond Hill and my rate which I got through Pilot Insurance was the best at the time and still should be. Im paying about $3400.00 a year, but thats because I have a clean record etc..As you approach age 25 rates drop significantly! However as for the other young chap of 21 years of age, somethings definately not right for him to be paying such a low insurance premium. Even if you had the cleanest record, it does not matter its the age that counts. I've looked around, I've done extensive research when it comes down to insurance. A 21 year old, primary driver, should be paying no less than $5500.00 a year unless a large error has been made. We are in a period where Insurance premiums are much greater for the younger guys. A few years back insurance rates were much younger. In re: to his statememnt about what he was told as to why his rate was $3300.00, none of that makes sense because at age 21 and to be a primary driver of a G35coupe theres no way on earth its $3300.00. I know numerous friends few years younger who are paying $4000.00+ for vehicles such as Jettas, golfs etc..I suggest you check to see whether that only for 6 months dude and if its not than you are onle lucky guy!
