Hey I was wondering what kind of deal to look for from this dealership? (Ericksen Infiniti, Edm, Alta, Canada) I plan on heading down there within the month to put a Laser red 6MT Coupe on order.
I was wondering if anyone was willing to share what they got as far as:
1) $ off MSRP
2) extras for the car
3) maintanence incentives
4) anything else that made it a good deal from there
5) Maybe who you dealt with (good or bad experience)

I believe this is the only dealership around this area....but if there are others i would be glad to know of them.
I know there are probably only a few people in this neck of the woods, so thanks for the help.

Sorry if this is unhelpful, but these are the facts. You are ordering a vehicle, ie. 6MT that is not common so expect no discount. If you are very lucky, you might get a slim discount on AT. If they have a coupe in stock that you like, you might be able to negotiate, especially if you buy during the winter. Ericksen Infiniti is indeed the only Infiniti dealership in Edmonton. Ditto to what Biscotti has said. The only thing I would add is that you can talk to Ryan as well. You may be able to get a free clear front bra installed for free and not pay for the administration fee.
That should give you saving of a few dollars. Enjoy the experience.

Same experiences as already stated. Sadly, not much discounting. Overall, a very good buying experience and their service department has some very knowledgeable staff. For service, talk to Ross or Carl. They are also mod friendly and will even sell and install GroundingGear™ for you, so maybe tell them I sent you, and see if they'll throw it in?

BTW, Warren jumped ship and is now selling Lexuses (Lexi?) I believe.

Ya that seemed to be the feeling i got when i was in there....thanks for the helpful info guys, much appreciated.
I will keep you informed if i can squeeze anything out of them.

If you guys ordered how long did it take? And how much did you put down? Refundable?....I was hoping to get it here by spring (when there is little or no snow...probably mid april) and i figure i should order around early to mid february....what do you guys think?

Yesterday, I spoke with Joel, the new guy taking Warren's place who confirmed that they don't really move on the price. He said he or Ryan would try to do what they could with any extras. Also speak to Rick Schumacher, the GM there to see if he can help with your buying experience.

It will take about 3 months, so ordering about right now would be ok. 1000.00 deposit that is refundable. You will love the car. Good luck.

 

No I am from Edmonton, just trying to gather some good information before I head down there to actually order. (So I know what to expect)
I talked to warren last time i was there (in early january) and he didnt give me the feeling that the price would be moving much, so i thought i would see how others did at the same dealership.

 

from winipeg here same here also, no moving on the price, even in winter i heard, they give discounts if you buy winter tires from them, ohh and a free key chain and cap. lol

I bought a sedan and paid list (but had a large trade in). Ericksen put on mudguards and included rubber floor mats.

I tried a Calgary dealer and he said they had a kind of deal not to sell into each other's sales area unless the customer was POed with his local dealer or was interested in a used machine on the lot.
