Winter situation
I need your inputs in terms of what i should do with the winter situation.
Note: I already read the other post, and most people seem to have 17s on. But where ever i go, or when i look for rims/tires online, they dont seem to suggest or even have 17" option for the G.
I currently have the OEM 19" rims + low profile summer tires on the 07 coupe, and now seems to be the best time to go winter tire shopping.
Now, would should i do, should i, (and which would cost less?)
-keep the oem rims and get some 19" winter tires (this appearently would be very expensive)
-Get a set of 17" or 18" rims, and put on some corresponding winter tires (btw, are 17s too small? or is 18" the smallest i could go?)
If you have any suggestions, comments, or any other ideas please post them up, im very new to this...
Btw, if you have an older package that you are looking to get rid of let me know.
I dont drive the G that much in winter, it will basically be sitting in the garage, but again there are times when it must come out, so i have to be ready.
Thanks guys

I'd get smaller rims. I got solid advice about what sizes the G could take and a price I couldn't beat elswhere on tires.. Tom L Kjeldsen | tlk@tiretrends.com | 1.877.920.TIRE - Ext. 27 | www.TireTrends.com

My Winter Setup
I have the 350z 18" 6 spoke rims on my car for winter.
If I was looking for wheels/tires for winter i'd call some scrap yards and ask. I think that style/size of rim is widely available and used on other Nissans, the maxima for example (not sure about sizing).

Best bet is getting 17's or oem 18's off g35 or 350z's since they are the only ones to clear brembo which I assume you have. If you don't have brembo's, you can go 16's with higher profile for better traction. I currently use 16's for winter on my 350Z.
