FINALLY GOT MY PACKAGE~ pictures!!
Did you do the brake bed-in procedure after installation and how much would your friend charge to others, I been meaning to get my brakes and rotors installed but dealer's charging way too much for labor.

HONESTLY...... after watching that movie.... and went to my car.... i felt my car should be doing more than just turning on~ LoL
No, most people recommend doing a bed-in or burnishing procedure after installation of pads and rotors, basically procedure that transfers layer of brake pad material evenly onto the rotor, supposed to prevent uneven rotor wear. I think there's a small mention of it in the service manual or you can check out this link for more info:

hEY i checked out the link... well ..... pretty much its something you have to do.. after getting new rotors and pads..... Like i did 10 ten partial stops and then 2 hard stops from 60.... then it should be ready.... it even says on the manual of hawks. I'm not sure if i'm actually answering you question LoL
Haha no you answered it, just wondering if you did it, I just don't know where I'm going to do the procedure once I get rotors and pads installed since I'd imagine you kinda need some open space. Btw the other question from my original post was if your friend is willing to do my brakes and how much would he charge? It's just a brake job but I'd still rather take it to someone who's done it before on our cars if I'm not taking it to the dealership. Thanks.

Man haha seems like i'm getting my friend alot of business LoL cause your the 5th person asking me actually lol.... well they pm me lol
like i told the others... i have to get back with you on that .. i gotta ask him
so..... when you say just brakes.... rotors and pads? replacement?cheers
Haha I'm not surprised...personally I would never take my car to Canadian Tire or places like that but at the same time the dealer is a massive rip off and while I think I might still go there for regular maintenance and oil changes, no way I'm paying them $350-400 labor for a brake job that I could probably do at my buddy's for free since he has all the required tools and air compressor. Since I've never done it before though, I'd rather get it done from someone who has if the price is reasonable, anyway let me know once you find out from your friend. And yes it's just replacing brake pads and rotors, I already have the parts though, just sitting around waiting to be installed. Thanks!
