MARKINGS EVERYWHERE!

Another thing thats getting on my nerves is as careful as I am when I enter and exit the vehicle. I must have about a million foot marks, scrapes on the inner side of the door. Its driving me nuts! I guess something with the design. Or I guess because the vehicle is low. Honestly I believe mroe than anything its the actual quality of the material "leather" or "Vinyl" used. Its such a low grade that it is easily marked upon shoe contact! I already have chips etc on the exterior too! The paint quality is not the best, and its a very thin coating of paint on the exterior. You will notice how easily paint is chipped off. Im not happy with this. See how NISSAN?INFINITI cuts corners..We all thought this car was value priced, and the best car for the money on the market upon its introduction to the market.

Re: MARKINGS EVERYWHERE!

Hum, These two topics have been discussed so many time. The paint quality have been discussed that it is not the poor paint quality but the poor painting process. It is not baked enough before delivery. That is why so many "clearbra" threads in this forum. When i got my car i leave it out to direct sunlight as long as possible and not wax it for almost one month to let it completely baked, and it's been more than six month and just one tiny paint chip which is totally not noticable at all. If the paint chip really bothers you that much, you really should've buy the clearbra for around 600 or at least put it under direct sunlight without waxing after getting it.

As for the seat belt, it doesn't bother me much. Maybe my seat is furthur back so it doesn't caused any trouble to me. Again, i still think this car is best value for its priced. Especially see how the resale value of it. Some 2004 STI, which was same price as ours, already dropped to under 40k as our car still holding up around 44-46k. Again, you not expecting to have perfect car with zero problems on a 50k car, even more expensive CLK has its own problems and complaints. These seat belt and paint problem isn't really big of an issue in comparison to those with engine problems...etc.
