5-7K ? I hope they at least are going to kiss you before they stick it...

I had some stitching come loose on my back seat (sedan) and the dealer replaced the entire cover under warranty. It took him about an hour to do it after it came in. Did you get the extra insurance for the interior? It should be covered.

If you do get stuck with the bill, send it to the dick head that drove it. If he doesn't pay, take him to court.

On one hand, the obvious, that situation sucks!

On the other hand you are fortunate that's all of the damage incurred. Luckily you only have a hole from the burn and were left with more than the shell of a G35

Good luck man!

Ouch, the good news is it's a lot less than $5K. You're right about the relatives. Grin and bear it, he owes you one now.

That seems reasonable to me. BTW, were you told or did you find out by yourself.

Tack or Diamond Trim (http://www.diamondtrim.com/) either will take care of you for much less than $5k.

NM, see you got it taken care of.

Did you get this fixed? I would like to know where and how you got it done.

I had the driver side seat by the left leg redone by my dealer and it looks not so good. They had a hard time matching the light interior which is willow or beige. Plus they said that this part of the seat is vinyl. Not much of the seat is actually leather?

Also the leather is cracking fast by the driver left shoulder.
