can you list where the grounding points are???

i.e battery-rightside intake manifold grounding point

i see most of them but i cant see the ones coming from the back and one that goes under the intek tube... i am also considering about this mod...

i wouldnt say that it makes ur car any faster.. just smoother.. it was worth it just for that..

 

MREV2 and copper ISO 5/16" spacer, some intake combo, K&N drop in/Z-tube or Pop charger/Z-tube, HKS exhaust unless I see/find one I like better and of course some suspension work.

Wheels will be last on that list before forced induction if I make it that far

I never keep my cars too long. Just tend to make them better for others......

 

Who said it made it faster? I said felt lighter and more responsive. Throttle response is definitely better than it was and between 2000-3000rpm it doesn't feel like a slug and the rpm needle winds up quicker.

Does it make it faster? Prob not, does it make it more fun to drive? Hell yes.

The ones that go around the back are just bolted to the Plenum bolts on either side. The ones that go into the battery box are 1 to the ground on the battery and the other goes through the main wiring harness grommet at the back corner and down to the ECU mounting bolt.

There is a grounding wire on the fronts of each of the strut towers as well.

+1^ I found the same thing, now throw on the Z-tube and Stillen intake and you'll get a nice intake growl too ...

Very nice, this is the 3rd time I heard positive things about grounding kits. I thik I might get one, do they come with instructions?

 

I just took Ron's Coupe for a drive, and it most definitely feels more responsive than when I took it for a drive last week. Like Ron said, you feel it most in the 2000-3000 RPM range.

On a side note, I so want a 6MT! I really miss a manual tranny.

Next time you'll have to negotiate better with your better half. It's worked for me for a lot of years.

 

Unfortunately, my next manual won't be until I get myself a second vehicle as a toy. If things go as planned, I'll have an S2000 in the driveway in the next year or so.

An S2000 would be a lot of fun.

 

Gords product quality and instructions are top notch! I was really impressed when I opened the box, he has all the terminals stamped to correspond with the instructions (I found that out later )

Comes with a few business cards, a couple of longer bolts/washers, zip ties and a couple of stickers.

A few extra things I noticed are the engine is very smooooth when you are just driving around normal and no more boggy at low rpms. The pedal response is 'right there' when you touch it.

I don't have to play the clutch as much to get it rolling from a dead stop and the car doesn't seems to be as jerky/twitchy when changing gears.

My observations as well. I'm well used to it now so kind of forgot all about the exact benefits.

 

That change sounds very dramatic Ron. Are you sure alot of the improvement did not occur just from resetting the ECU.
I have heard a lot good things about Gords grounding kit, but usually the improvements were more noticeable in automatics.
