I have heard a lot good things about Gords grounding kit, but usually the improvements were more noticeable in automatics.

Wayne, when Ron was over my house earlier today, I am quite sure he stated he didn't reset the ECU until after he installed the grounding kit and took his Coupe for a drive and noticed the difference. I could be wrong, but I am sure Ron will confirm.

There is a grounding wire on the fronts of each of the strut towers as well.

Hope that helps!

Actually I wanted to avoid the placebo effect and make sure what my butt was feeling was legit so to compensate for the ECU reset I did it before the install went for a few WOT runs without the wires installed.

Installed the wires and reset the ECU again.

Actually come to think of it as well one of my stock grounding wires on the passenger side strut tower was corroded pretty badly as well. My car only has 24,000kms on it.

Cool, post back with your experience Ken. I personally think the red looks pretty sharp in the engine bay!

Cheers,

Just FYI when I was shopping for these, I've heard the Red and Blue would darken over time from the heat.

Probably take a long time for that to happen even if it does. No offence Mmagic76 but sounds like a wives tale.

Ha, thanks. Nicest thing anyone has called me today but I can't promise it's true.
I'm sure you'll be happy with them. If you're going to bother with the wires may as well have a little bling.

I figured it matched the INJEN name plate which is red along with the Infiniti on the engine cover and you are correct a little bling isn't too bad..

Not looking forward the install but i'm sure it can't be too bad.. Luckily my neighbour has a lift in his garage so it should make it alot easier.. That reminds me gotta him a 12 pack..

Kinda forgot how bad the MOD bug gets when you get started.. I think I have dropped almost 4 G in 2 weeks.. Gonna have to wait on the exhaust.. Love the look of the HKS but the FI one is sweet too..
