Yeah, no doubt it's a great car. The xi is probably a good choice for Edmonton. Colour and interior finish is a totally personal thing but the space gray with aluminum would be mine.

the wood looks nice... but the interior just looks too dark to me with all black and dark wood finish. i really liked the alpine white on coral red at my local dealer. but not sure what the upkeep will be like on red leather.

have they released any pricing for the xi yet? i had priced up the coupe and convertible a couple months back.. but would like to wait and see the new 135 and audi s5 in person first before i make a buying decision.

xi is apparently a $ 2,600.00 option. I do not know if this is a hard number though, this is the suggested option cost.

ah.. thanks for the info. seems reasonable compared to the cabriolet, even if it's only a ballpark. any news on delivery dates? i'm assuming early spring next year (march/april?).

Now in the spirit of trading my daughter sold her I-30 to her boyfriend and bought this. What a cool car. Heated leather seats, bluetooth, wired for I-pod integration, too many other cool options. She is very proud right now. Took this pic tonight.

Forgot to mention, brand new out of the showroom yesterday!

So my son ordered his new loaded 335 xi coupe last night. White with red leather interior. December production so he may have it sometime in January. He loved his 6mt in the coupe on empty roads but traffic here in Edmonton is getting very congested and he was sick of the standard travelling in rush hour so he went with the 6 speed tiptronic. I would not have gone that route but it is not my car. The dealership has 15 or 16 on order. Infiniti is missing the boat on this. Word is that the 4 wheel option is coming but BMW has the jump on them. An all wheel drive coupe is just what the doctor ordered for our winters.

That's a sweet little car for your Daughter Mark. I've never driven one, but I am sure they are a blast to drive. Your Son is getting one heckuva car as well.

It's not hard to tell that your family has a passion for nice automobiles.

Mark,

Tell your son congrats on the order of his 335xi it should be one heck of a car. Never seen the red leather option on the 335 so please post pics when he gets it. Having a passion for cars is a good thing!!

Ken
