I just called my local Infiniti dealer enquiring the cost in hooking up the DRL's for an American version G35...i was told they don't actually sell the kit, but they charge 3 hrs labour for this.
1. anyone knowwhere I can pick up the DRl kit? (either in the US or Canada)
2. does 3 hrs labour sound reasonable?

Anybody else get this done on their car?

I just used a Bosh relay $10.00. I would say 3hr install is fair it took me a lot longer to pull the car apart and figure out which wires ran the fog lights. My local shop that I did the install at now charges $300 for the job. So depending on what they are charging you for the "kit" it sounds reasonable. Where are you located?

 

I had DRL's done on my G35 from the US a couple of weeks ago. Canadian Tire did the job for just over $ 300. In Victoria, BC

 

I bought a G35x last month in Portland, Maine. They fixed the DRL's for $360 US which I thought was well worth it considering how much I saved. Good luck.

 

I'm in Toronto...does the 2006 use the fogs or lowbeams for the DRL?
