he told me they have called the cops...but they can't do anything about it since he's sitting on city's property more than 6' away from the entrance. Whatever the reason is for his "protest" or whatever, I give him credit for doing what many people ought to do when dealers screw their customers. He says he'll sit out for the whole winter, and he figures he'll make Saturn lose a few sales by the end of the season.

I asked but all he said was that they would not honour the warranty. I got the impression the whole thing is in litigation.

Chico,

Sent this thread to a friend of mine who works for TheStar's Wheel Section as an assistant editor. Hopefully they will get more info and run a story. Wish I had the ***** to do this when Gateway Chevy screwed over my sister on warranty work on a 1998 Blazer she had. Thus is why I would never touch anything that GM makes. Chrysler is another one but that is a much involved story..

Thanks. If the case is in litigation he must not be very confident of his case or he is just one really incredibly po'd guy. Most people would wait until the outcome before going through with this. Cost of litigation would likely exceed costs of rebuilding his car.

Like what he chose to replace it with is any better. lol.

If I were that dealer, I'd put a huge "Looney Tunes" sign pointing to that old fart.
