G COUPE SUSPENSION

I am planning to lower my car, I know I have to change cambers if I would too low as someone did front 1.1inch rear 0.9inch but I only want lower front 0.6 rear 0.3. Someone told me that it will bring negtive affect if I just change springs. Do I only change springs or whole kits for the height?

Re: G COUPE SUSPENSION

If you just change the springs with higher spring rate, it will shorten your stock shocks absorber's life. But you have mentioned you only want to lower 0.6front and 0.3 rear, I guess you are going to get Tein H-tech springs? H-tech springs have progressive springs rate, and will just silghtly stiffer than stock springs. So I would say the negative effect is minimal.

If you not planning to Autox your G nor re-adjust the ride height in winter, I would say just get the lower springs is ok

Re: G COUPE SUSPENSION

This is good

I plan on lowering my car an inch or so but I wish to keep the ride about the same or a little stiffer. Tein springs only seem right but what model?

04 cpe platinum/willow 6MT Brembo DRV4SHOW,
custom grounding kit, 200 w Alpine 10 in sub, 80 w Alpine, footwell neon
02 Mercedes C32 AMG PUTT4DOE

Re: G COUPE SUSPENSION

If you going to lower about an inch will little stiffer ride, Tein maybe too soft for you due to their soft spring rate setting. I would say best bet would be Eibach or H&R. Haven't seen review on H&R yet, but from my previous experience with H&R on my other cars, it would be little stiff but much better handling (except my Volvo S40..they use same spring for S40 and V40, which make my S40's ride height looks weird).

But if you still want to go with Tein, S-tech is the model.

Cheers,
