Winter Steel Rims - Offset???
For those that are using steel rims for the winter, did you buy specific steelies that have an offset similar to the OEM rims? Does it matter if the rims are universal, which most likely menas the offset is 0???

0 offset... it must have some serious lipage or else the steelie wouldn't look good!!
I think it makes sense to guess that they have a +35~50mm offset since most cars have offsets at this range.

just get a set of used 17" or even 18" wheels and put some winter tires and you'll have a nice looking G in the winter. That's what I did as I can't stand putting those ugly things on my car. JMHO.

yeah, as much as i liked black steelies on my last car it just doesn't work as well on a g. though i've seen some with steelies and a nice aggressive snow tire, actually looks good. like some one who takes winter driving seriously
