We are with Nolitours and they use Air Transat planes and they call it Club Class.
From the Nolitours book this includes:
-wider more comfortable leather seats
-more leg room
-double the baggage allowance
-choice of gourmet meals and fine wines
-prioroty check-in, baggage service, and boarding.
-and much more

The only thing I did not like the last two years on our trip down there was the cramped airplane ride there and back so I remedied that, we booked Club Class for our Flights. So we are set

Save a few drinks for us Peter

Yes!!!!! I can hardly wait

Right on Wayne. Sounds like a great idea. In a few years that might be a regular for us too.

Yeah, some of those planes are pretty small. When I flew to Rio and to Vancouver I went first class because of how long the flights were. The booze and extra service wasn't bad either.

Mexico is good (Mayan Riviera), but once you go to the Caribbean, you will quickly forget about Cuba, the Dominican Republic and the likes. There is a price difference, but worth it in my opinion. I’ve done most of that part of the world and my favorite islands are Guadeloupe, Martinique and Barbados. Aruba and Curaçao are up there on the list too. In fact, my wife and I are spending two weeks in Aruba and Curaçao in March. However, all inclusive resorts are not very popular over there.

Cruising is fun too; it lets you see a lot of stuff within a short period of time. Food is generally very good, but select your cruiseline carefully (the more you pay, the better and avoid Carnival). To me, it’s not as relaxing however, unless perhaps you take a cruise that has a lot of days at sea.

Over in Mexico, don't miss Tulum (a few hours there is enough), Xel-Ha (plan to spend at least a day there, you'll have a blast) and Chichen Itza (1/2 day). A visit to Playa del Carmen is worth it, which is where you get the ferry to go to Cozumel (probably not worth it unless you dive). The best way to travel is by public bus, which is very cheap and convenient. It's usually very safe too, but still be careful.

Let me know if you have any specific questions…

This web site is GOLD in terms of finding out if any "great deal" on a specific resort is worthwhile...

http://www.tripadvisor.com/

It helped me find this fantastic vacation spot in Playa del Carmen, Mexico for my honeymoon:

Punta Cana for all inclusive in the Caribbean. The resort we stayed at was unbelievable great...Bavaro Princess I believe it was..cant complain. I remember the Mexican and French restaurant being really good. Went here 06 in July.

Went to Kenya and Tanzania in Dec. in 04 for a safari and that was the most amazing. Weather was great also!

Seeing how I booked my last years vacation (thanks Wayne) based off recommendations from this forum, I thought I would try again.

I am looking for an all inclusive destination, looking to leave during the last week of November or the First week of December.

Thanks

Peter

Peter, I leave for Varadero this Saturday and will be staying at the Paradisus Princesa Del Mar. It's an ex Sandals resort and is a 5 star ultra all-inclusive. It's also adults only (not sure if you have any kids that you will be taking). Anyways, I'll let you know what I think of it when I get back.

We were just in Disney World earlier this month, it truly is an experience. Went with our four kids (12, 11, 7, 6) and they had a blast. Animal Kingdom was everyone's favourite park. Good shows and great rides (got to use the FastPass system, it really works well). My parents joined us to make it a party of eight so that helped with rental of the house, and we flew out of Buffalo for some whopping savings as opposed to Air Canada out of Pearson. But bring your plastic, the Disney tickets aren't cheap! I would go back, once my pocketbook recuperates, lol.

Maybe you should consider a cruise to the Caribbean. Either Princess or Royal Caribbean would be a good choice. They are all inclusive as well. Save environment. Excellent food and nice shopping et al.
