Average price for a G Coupe now?

First time poster, but been doing a lot of research on the G and looking to purchase one next year maybe in the spring. Whats a good price for a used G coupe? 2003-04 prefer manual. I've checked auto trader and the results I got were around the 29-33k mark. Do you think it'll go down next spring?

For sure it will go down next spring since they will continue to depreciate. How much - who knows. My guess is an 03-04 will run 24-32 depending on condition and kms, year. Where are you and what colour are you looking for?

i did a crapload of research before i bought mine a couple months ago... an 03-04 6mt avg with not too many miles you should find around 24-27, with plenty random deals under 24

i got mine for 21 (got lucky tho) but found more every so around that price with really good miles and fully loaded.

5at you'll find a lot cheaper tho

Where do you live? I have not seen a 21K coupe anywhere in this country. That is well below wholesale. In the U.S. maybe, but here?

I don't think you will see a dramatic correction in pricing because that will put leases upside down for all the manufacturers and will kill the used car market here. You may see a correction just enough to discourage cross country shopping and see some warrantees declined to discourage importing. If they dropped BMW pricing to U.S. values, my M5 would be 30K upside down. Not a prospect that I look forward to. This is a tough situation for the car companies.

BMW are dealing with this in the form of cash purchase rebates. Sticker stays the same but cash back from the manufacturer. Lease one, no rebate. An interesting way to deal with the dilemma.

I would love to own a M5, heard the car is slow, controls are horrible, until the M button is pushed and you got that 500HP power... I wish my G had something along those lines.

Here's one https://g35driver.com/forums/archived-sales/185054-2003-coupe-ivory-pearl-21000-toronto.html

Maybe cars are cheaper here in toronto but it seems like there are lots under 23-24k here.

I don't even think i will get 21k for mine here.

^It might be more expensive in your area, it all depends on the demographics. Might be cheaper to buy from out of province. I was thinking about buying from Quebec before.

I have to agree....
But I'm afraid the upside down lease issue is upon us anyway.
When I leased my Z4M I was definitely considering a buy out at the end & keep it for weekender.

My residual will be $41K for a 3yr old car with 60K klicks on it.
I know guys that are buying a brand new '07 Z4M Coupes for $45K with BMW trunk money right now. (USA)
= I will be handing the keys back on this one.
