Dealer Ranking - GTA
I drove/drive from Kitchener to Vic's. I have always been impressed and quite happy with his service and prices. He goes the extra mile. My only additional comment is that when you are far away, any small after job adjustments ( tightening of the belts or slight adjustment of breaks after a job ) which Vic was happy to do gratis, were done locally as I just couldn't get back. Having said that. I will still go to Vic to know that the job is done right and I will not be not hozed. Please don't take this as a negative, even though I had to pay ( went to a Nissan stealership ) I am happy with the cost, service and piece of mind I have when I go to Vic.
For sure I'd take the G to Vic to check it out, especially if the dealer is less than stellar and local.
GL with your purchase and welcome.

Thanx for the welcome. Picked up the 04 Sedan 6MT on Saturday and took it straight to Simone's Performance. Vic and his wife are terrific folks and I have already made arrangements to have the drivetrain serviced by him (new clutch, diff flush, synthetic fluids, etc, etc). The used car salesman I dealt with was a real winner! Nice guy, but gave me the typical "used-car salesman crap" - he clearly did not know his products (or maybe he did and was just giving me BS). When I took the car for a test drive I told him it needed a clutch. He told me all Infiniti transmissions are like that - YEAH RIGHT! When I told him I contacted the previous owner and knew everything I needed to know about the car (including the need for a new clutch), he suddenly got real quiet. I got the car for a good price so I'm not too worried about investing another grand or so with Vic to get the car straight. It's got a new set of performance tires on it now, but I'm afraid of what it gonna cost me for a decent set of winter rubber. Oh well, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. Thanx for the feedback on Vic Simone - I have no problems driving 3 hrs from North Bay knowing that a competent technician is looking after the vehicle.
Based on the searches I have made and the various threads on dealer service, it would appear that Simone Performance Auto has a passing grade from most folks on this site. I'm a military guy located in North Bay, ON and I'm on my way down to the GTA on Saturday to "possibly" pick up an 04 Sedan 6MT (so far he's only got my deposit money until I actually eyeball the vehicle). I'm buying this from Curve Motor Sport (done some research on this used car dealer as well and his reputation is underwhelming) for $13,900 with 85K kms. I was actually lucky enough to track down the previous owner/leaser of this vehicle and he states it's a good car but needs a clutch. So I contacted Oakville Infiniti and they want $575 for parts and another $750 in labour to do the work. I contacted Vic at Simone Performance and he was very helpful and asked me to drop by his shop on Saturday on the way home and he'll give the car a look and take it for a spin. So far I'm impressed. He indicated that he changes clutches in these vehicles for approx $400 bucks (plus cost of parts of course), depending on total amount of parts to be replaced. I've never owned a high performance car like this (except for a Ford Supercoupe I had in the early 90's), and I'm willing to travel from North Bay to Newmarket to get the work done. Any comments on the service at Simone Performance? Are there better shops around the GTA to do this work? I don't think I'll be visiting an Infiniti dealer anytime soon with those prices. Thanx in advance .....
New Market would be the closest Infiniti Dealer to you in the Bay isn't it? Unless they have one in Sudbury.. not sure.
Personally, I have to say Alta Infiniti is one of the best dealerships (havent been to others). As far as service they are a bitch to deal with and one of the managers definitely needs a class or two on customer relations/service. They will always try and make some money off you by selling you things for your car that you dont need, you just have to deny everything. But when it comes down to the work they are good and also warranty stuff. So far they've done clicking axle, window motor, and Engine! They even changed my clutch out and added headers when they changed my engine for free. I mean a dealership is a stealership, I mean dealership and you gotta expect that, but when it comes down to the action, these guys will do it up.
hmm great rep on simone's. I will take my car to Vic for my diff and transmission fluid change. One quick question, will they use oem fluids? Not that I don't trust aftermarket brands like Amsoil... just preference.
Downtown Infiniti quoted me 149+tax for diff fluid and 279+tax for tranny fluid.
I've been to willowdale nissan for parts, and the part guy was spectacular. helped me thoroughly even that meant ordering a bolt that was about 50 cents. He also cut a key for me at no cost. I should have asked for his name.
However willowdale's sales are the worst. Before I had my G, I went in looking for one. I had to ask 3 different sales rep to help me. None of them were interested in a fresh graduate like me I suppose (at the time). From that point on I swear that I will never buy a car from willowdale nissan/infiniti or recommend to anyone.
Also, the service department looked crammed and intimidating. The receptionist gave me the "what are you doing at infiniti dealership" attitude the whole time. Very degrading.
I'm also looking at Beck Automotive located in Finch and Leslie area. I have a friend going there for oil changes and also saw a thumbs up on this thread.

I've been dealing with Markham Infiniti. I wouldn't call them friendly (they're a bit humorless and gruff), but they definitely are competent.
They unf**ked an oil change that was originally f**ked by Mr. Lube (those idiots didn't seal the filter properly, leading to an oil leak). They charged me less for the oil change ($50) than the Mr. Lube twits did originally, plus I got a free car wash with the deal at the dealership.

not bad. got a G37x as loaner... The service guys always gives me Nissans. the receptionist always give me an Infiniti...
When they were in Yorkville, they were TERRIBLE.
I didn't give them a second... actually... fourth chance to f**k up after they moved.
