Winter M5 Project

I park the M5 in the winter and it is the perfect time for mods. Last year it was the Dinan exhaust. This year I think I would like to install the Vorsteiner racing hood and HRE wheels. Pics show both. I would get the centres of the wheels in black, think that would look the best with my white paint job. Comments?

looks like a sick set-up. Black wheel will defiantly look good on your car especially if your windows are tinted. The hood looks good! Is it like stock but with vents? It looks like its shaped differently on the top, but its hard to tell.

I like the stock wheels and hood, but thats just me. I'm sure they would look great though.

HRE's look great. The hood, not so much. A guy that works at a company across the parking lot from me has a Vorsteiner hood for his M3. Looks really gaudy in real life.

Hood - yes
wheel - yes
wheel color - no

I see way too many white cars with black rims, I suggest you go with something more original..

Mark, I guess I am boring by nature because I just love your M5 just the way it is. If anything though, I do love the wheels but would leave the stock hood. Just my .02 cents.

The wheels look great.
JMO but I wouldn't do black either, to me black makes an expensive wheel look like a not so expensive one.
Black hides detail.
I would def stay away from a mono colour silver though.
Gunmetal, hyperblack centers or something along that line would be my preference on AW.

if HRE can do "black chrome", or "burning black", it'd be really hot.

i'm not a fan of black rims either, but the important part is that you like it.
