G37s vs. 335i coupe

Hey Guys,

At one time I leased an 03 G35c and got it right when it first came out..maybe first 20 cars in the city at the time..beautiful car and all speaking of that generation but when the NEW G37c was launched what a dissappointment..the BMW335i hands down was the big time winner from that point on both in looks & performance etc. so today I just signed and leased an 08 jet black 335i coupe w/ premium, sports w/ shift paddles, & premium sound 20K 3 yrs at their incredible 3.9% rate for ONLY $870 per month taxes in. What u guys think of this? Pretty good eh? Don't even bother buying from the US..u might save couple of thousand but thats about it max & not worth the headache..Car delivery February unfortunataly.. Any tips or comments would be appreciated?

Also people never buy or lease from WILLOWDALE INFINITI. They are the worst dealsership in North America literally! Thats where I got mine and never will..

Generally speaking BMW service is always better than Infiniti thats for sure..

by the way if anyone would know..I did not get the ACTIVE STEERING option what exactly is this? Is it that important?

If lease rate drops further I will be entitled to it until my delivery..

Infiniti is great value no doubt & of course technologically always little more advanced..but styling this time around I sure was not too happy with..way too conservative as if they are targeting much older crowd..not only that still performed very poorly in DYNO test even with an engine thats 30 HP more.. no wonder BMW won Engine of the yr. that Twin Turbo engine just cant be beat..

So people did I get a good decent deal? What u think?

Could you PM me where you got the car at that interest rate. Last I heard BMW were not discounting the rate on 335 coupes. Thx.

All the cars are available at that rate now. 3.9% on '08's and 2.9% on '07s. Started on Dec 1st I think.

Depends... what's your cash up front (i.e., downpayment, delivery charges)?

From the reviews I've read, it actually makes the steering worse (it dampens road feel).

Oh, re: Active steering (didn't see that above), basically it boosts the steering at low speeds, so you don't have to turn the wheel as much. For example, at 5km/h a half turn will peg the wheel. Whether or not it's a good feature is hotly debated. People with it seem to love it, and a lot of other people say it deadens the steering response. I don't like it, I suggest you drive a car with it.

I thought the G37C looked better than the 335...

G37 has nice round body, it's like looking at the curves on a sexy girl

335i imo isn't the greatest design...

Yes, that was an interesting read. It sounds like he can access some decent deals as well as handle importing and conversions required.
