Did you feel safer knowing he was behind you? Personally, I like to leave the idiots/drunks a great many car lengths in front of me so that I have plenty of time to react if something does happen. You never know what they'll do when you're in the middle of passing them and you don't have to worry about them rear ending you further down the road.

 

Yeah, I actually feel much safer knowing the idiot was behind me. I wanted to put as much distance between me and him as possible. If he side swipes someone on the highway, I'd rather be in front of all the mess. That's just me though.

 

^ I normally do the same. Try and get past quickly and safely to avoid potential danger and the distraction of watching out for a menace on the road.

 

I posted my encounter with an idiot driver a couple months ago.

Since that happened, I noticed his van at a compound where it was towed (it was wrote off).. I found out this dude was pulled out of the ditch by the same tow truck driver 4 hours earlier than my encounter with him. So he had been driving like a dickweed all of that day. I hope he is nailed to the wall on his court day, and I will be there .

I hope so too, it was somewhat terrifying to see that guy barrelling down on me, I was planning on following him all day if I had to until the police caught up with us, he was travelling triple digits on both sides of the road. After he wrote his vehicle off it made it easy.
The Police said it would probably be a year before I get called to court to nail that scumbag.
