Re: Waht do you think of the DoLuck Double Six?
I found this on another forum but something like:
It is a 2pc FORGED wheel. So that is why the price is what it is.
Not one wheel weighs more than 20lbs.
The lip is high polished.
It has a build time of 5 weeks (Custom order).
Very prestigious heritage in Japan.
This wheel is unique and I really think we could be the first.
Preliminary numbers are this and it includes everything right to your door:
1-2 sets
Hyperblack 18x8.5 front and 18x10 rear $3890cdn
Chrome 18x8.5 front and 18x10 rear $4100cdn
+3 sets
Hyperblack 18x8.5 front and 18x10 rear $3600cdn
Chrome 18x8.5 front and 18x10 rear $3890cdn
***no tires.

Re: Waht do you think of the DoLuck Double Six?
This gives me a chance for an overdue thank you to big_h.
Here's the story:
Last fall I was messed with by a Toronto-based tire company that could not deliver what they promised, gave me false expectations, and deliberately deceived me in hopes of securing a sale from someone they believed to be an easy mark. I think my exact words in the end were "go pound sand" (not really but the mods would never allow it ;o) ).
This caused me inordinate delays in getting a winter set-up. In my quest for something to rectify the situation, I came across Harry and bigwheelz.com here on the forums. At every turn, in my dealings with him he was not only courteous, enthusiastic, competent and knowledgeable, but also, responsible. When a distributor problem (size, offset, availability) caused a need to change my wheel choice, he did this, upgrading my wheels (I like these ones better too!)without cost to me. When further delays were encountered (again distributor hiccups) he not only lopped substantial profit off the cost to me in the form of a discount, but also expedited my wheels across the country at no cost (they left Alberta at 6pm and arrived on my doorstep at 0957 the very next morning, Kingston Ontario). All tolled, I estimate a value in excess of 300 bones pushed my way for my trouble to ensure my continued patronage.
When the time comes to sink (literally-financially) my way into a set of BBS RGR diamond blacks, I can tell you where my business is going.
Thanks, Harry.
DB
