Looks like an interesting article Colin, I gave it a quick skim and I'll go back to read it later when my attention span is longer than 20 seconds. His comment about making winter tires a write off over 4 years seems like a good idea to me.

You beat me to it, I read that also in the Star and was going to post it.
It is amazing how many people resist getting winter tires, and they are so much safer.

Yeah good post Colin. Anything that helps use of the safest tires works for me.

 

I like the idea of being able to write them off, people need some sort of motivation other than an accident to get them on board with this important safety issue.
