Looking for good auto service in London.
g'morning all...I'm a newbie to this whole forum thing and recent purchaser of an '04 G35 coupe, black on black - in London area. Bought from South London Infiniti - horrible experience so was hoping the service experience was going to be better. Had it in for alignment yesterday - told on safety it was needed as tires are starting to cup. During service, they lost 1 cust's keys, ended up changing oil and filter on wrong car and then mangled my license plate after running it through car wash. One of the guys in the waiting room told me to make sure I check to see if they've done the work since he has found twice before they didn't. So... since it's out of warranty my preference would be to find someone in London area who is a good mechanic, trustworthy and knows these cars.....can anyone help?
thanks in advance.
thanks in advance.
I am in Chatham......only had one experience with the London dealership and it was fine (I usually took my car to Winsdor where I purchased). Not sure of any other shops in London were you could go, but nice to see a forum member close by. Looking forward to seeing you at some of the meets!
Hey Beach Girl - I'm in the London area, with an '07 Coupe (also purchased from South London Infiniti). Although I've had good experiences with the service department out there (so far), I do take my G to another garage for any non-warranty work.

Walker Campbell is the owner's name - he and his boys have always treated me well, and have proven to be trustworthy. Despite the name, they do more than just tires...and if there's anything they can't do for you, they'll steer you toward someone reputable who can.
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions - good luck!

thanks very much for this. I assume you must have used these guys prior to buying your G as well? Since I bought my 04 used with history unknown, I'd really like to pay for a "good going over" just to get a feel for any potential future trouble spots. Also, this may be a good place to start since I'll likely need tires in the not too distant future.
Yup...I had a SpecV before my G, and took it to them for all non-warranty work. If they catch something during an inspection, they give me a detailed run-down of the issue so that I can check if it's covered under warranty first. They won't try to push things on you that you don't need. As far as tires go - it's difficult for any Canadian tire dealer to be competitive right now, and they will be the first to tell you that they can't price match with US suppliers. I ordered my winter set from TireRack, had them shipped here, and they installed them for me.
