advice on exhaust parts.....
With spring on its way I'm saving up to complete the rest of my exhaust system on the G (sedan), as of now I have headers, stock cats, aft.market Y pipe, coupe mid pipe and stock muffler. It sounds great but I know with the headers installed and leaving stock parts on the exhaust I must be losing power or not gaining much.
Here's what I plan to do buy high flow cats, and an aftermarket (mid pipe and back) muffler, I'm not sure which company I should go with one thing I do know is I don't want it to sound no louder than it is already I can't stand loud exhausts it gives me a headache.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think most people who get cat-back exhaust for the sedan go with either Stillen or Borla, however you mentioned that you don't want too loud of an exhaust so I'm not sure if either would suit you. Have you considered the HKS muffler, I'm running that with the coupe midpipe and love the way it sounds as do most people on this board. I go to uni in Waterloo so if you want to hear how it sounds in person, you're welcome to check it out.
I have test pipes and they made my stock exhaust fairly louder. i would not suggest them if you are trying to keep noise down. HFC's are good but a lot more $$ than test pipes although they are not as loud and do not smell.
for the most power i think the stillen true dual is the best for the sedan but i am not 100% sure. what is the sizing of your aftermarket Y? for N/A you should be good with a Y with 2.5" inlets and 3" out mated with a 3" midpipe to your muffler. the HKS muffler sounds really good...

If you can stand the drone, I will suggest you to go with a Stillen Gen2 or Borla true dual. If not, try the Fujitsubo catback, and pair it up with a set of Fast Intention HFC.
*I personally had the stillen Gen1 for more than 1.5 years but couldn't stand the drone in highway driving

I have the Gen2 Stillen..it still drones. Esp in local traffic when you can't get up above 70km/hr.
I think this spring some mods will have to be done. It gets kind of irritating sometimes. On the highway its fine though.

I think there is some slight drone when I'm just cruising around at 2-3k rpm but I usually have music playing anyway and with the volume set at 12-13 it's hardly noticeable to me. I had the HKS and midpipe installed at the same time so I can't tell ya what effect the coupe midpipe has on it's own but I do also remember reading that the 05-06 sedan midpipe is less prone to droning. Hope that helps.
