Confused about the 08 accord

Sup guys,
I'm really confused. I signed the papers for the 08 accord coupe I4. I was reading on honda forums the I 4 gas milege is no where near the posted sticker which is 8.4L/100. In fact its close to 11/l and 12/L, so it's very close to the v6 version. The price difference between the I4 and V6 is $4000. I added the aero kit, warranty and the price was about $39000 after taxes. The V6 is about $42000 without the warranty and without the aero kit. Not the mention the I 4 is 190hp while the v6 is 270hp so close to my current G35

I'm leanding towards the v6 now, just not sure though. do you think i should add the 7 years/160000km warranty for $1500? It is the first year of this model and i'm a bit scared something might pop up down the years. but than again its an honda.
I used to think honda's are cheap but they are not!
i also cant decide which colour i want. i ordered white but might/will change it to Silver mettalic.

Hey M.......I personally would go for the V6 but that's me.....I'm sure the 4 would be great too especially with the new 190 hp version.
I can't see fuel mileage being too far off the 8.4l/100 estimates and I seriously doubt the "11 to 12" estimates....

As for the extended warrranty I wouldn't go for it -- It's a great ride and not likely to let you down.......but if you're the worrying kind then get a couple extra years for peace of mind.......

Colour is a taste thing.......My bro has the silver and that would be my choice but I'm sure the white is equally great too.....

G/L

hey C,
I'm for sure going for the V6 now I just hope the dealership will let me switch to an v6 now. I've been bothering them for few days, always calling to add more options..lol...their fed up with me i think but than again i'm the customer.
If i were to get the aero kit, i would go with white no questions there, but witout the aero kit i dont think white looks good, (it looks incomplete). So my i narrowed my choice to silver or Grey(Polished Metal Metallic).

I just wish i could afford $2000 more for the kit but than the price falls close to the $50000 category After taxes, etc and i wuld nvr pay that much for an honda.

I too would also opt for the V6 if spending the extra $4k is still within your budget. On a side note, I had no idea one could pay close to $50k for an Accord.

Forget the rust protection Manbir. It's about $600+ of straight profit for the stealer. If you are going to keep it a long time and want extra undercoating just go to CTC or Krown or somewhere like that for $75 bucks or so.

Like Colin said don't bother with the expensive warranty either.

They took off few hundred off. the reason they didn't reduce huge mount is because i got a good deal with the trade off. No other dealer was offering me this much.
Now my only worry is if they will accept my request for the V6 instead of he I 4. I called the sales person and she'll talk to the manager 2mor. If they don't accept i will buy from anoter dealership and i guess i lost that $1000 i put in deposit.Damn why don't think before i buy
