Yes, I read this an saw it on CBC this am. Very sad for a talented guy and someone who has conquered so much adversity in the past.

this is sad. just saw him a few weeks ago, he played some trumpet songs in a parking lot for me and some buddies. he was a cool guy.

I think he was almost 8 yrs between album releases and the newest is being released this month. Pisser, very talented guy.

I heard this on the radio in the car this morning, very sad news. RIP Jeff.

My wife just told me this on MSN this morning. Damn, that is very sad. Our first real date was a Jeff Healey concert, and the first song at our wedding was his 'Angel Eyes'. You could say I was a fan. Still am. Crap.

i guess the only song i know of his was angel eyes. Man what a great song. One of my all time favorites. It saddens me of his loss as it is also our loss.

I highly recommend you pick up some of his work - he truly was incredible.

One of the best guitarists ever. I never got into his jazz music, but I'll have to pick some up and give it a listen. RIP, Jeff.
