Clear Bra install in GTA

Sup guys,
does anyone know a good shop in GTA (if in Markham/Richmond area) where i could get the 3m clear hood protector installed? I go on the highway to work/school and my g35 had lot of chip rocks, want to prevent that now.

I got my windows tint installed by autofx located in hwy 7 and mccowan, they do provide clear hood protector but it's not 3M. they were asking $200. How much would a 3m cost me?

thank,
M

Here Manbit, they do a great job. John and Mark run this shop. John did my last 2 G35 cars.
I took a friends Cadillac there last year and for the full 3M treatment it was $600. this was full bumper wrap, mirrors, leading part of front fenders and hood.

That sounds good, Do you think it' a good idea to get the car wax before i get the 3m installed?
Also, i heard after some time the dust builds up etc, is there a solution for this?

thanks,

thanks,
I wouldn't wax it until the clear bra is applied. I have not noticed a dust problem.
A few of us on the site have used this company and I have not heard any complaints, only positive comments.

Like Wayne mentioned... no need to wax.
They would only strip the wax anyway.

When you wax later, do the clearbra as well.

I'd be interested in this also.

If possible, can you post some before/after shots of this?

Follow up would be great! Good luck with that.

You can always get them touched up first. (I've seen our local detailing guru Kevin do wonders with a minor chip in the paint)

Hey wayne, i called that place and they were asking $250 for the 3m film. that was including hood, and side fender.
He said the bumper wouldn't be recommended because of so many cuts and it wouldn't be worth the cost.
So i called auto fx and asked them to install a 3m film, they also provide lifetime warrnty if any colour change etc.
Wayne, can you tell me how far does the brar go? auto fx is providing me with about 18 to 22inches depending on how much i can make them go a bit far. Im thinking of droping $50 more and have them do more on the hood, mirrors. since i'm always on the highway.

Heck, I really like the full bumper wrap, it gives a lot of protection. They did the full wrap on my G, Colin's M Ian's BMW, my friends Cadillac etc. Is it that much different to put it on your new Honda?
The 3m only goes up my hood about 12".

I have also heard good reports on Autofx.

alright, i think i'll ask them to cover the bumper aswell....
thanks wayne, so i guess the bumper doesn't look bad at all. the person was saying because of all the cuts the new bumpers have, it wouldnt look that good compared to the hood.

Autofx is right near my house, and their warranty is A++ because on my older G, i remember i opened the window before the 48 hour period and after some time a small buble poped up but they fixed it without any questions. Warranty is the only reason i'm going with autofx.

thanks wayne, i'm leaning towards the bumper now aswell..Arrghh the price difference between with the bumper and without the bumper is hugeee....$200 without, and about $600 with bumper.

it's worth it at end of the day. I'll posttt pictures soon as i can find my cameraaa....
