My 1st bad experience @ Dealership, You judge
My 1st bad experience @ Dealership, You judge
For the record everyone there has ALWAYS ALWAYS been cool with me. and I do NOT in anyway feel that this dealership is bad, just one bad salesman. I just want ppl to know to avoid this salesman. If you go to this dealership I highly recommend either of the Mathews, Tony or you can even speak with the owner Eddie. I am also a huge fan of the service dept and how they are always courtious and deal with situations I have with the car quickly and professionally.
Now this is why I want to see other ppls opinion on this matter.
Scenario.
I drive the loaner back to the dealership and there is a spot open but there is a puddle there, so rather than have to step in water or have whoever will have to move the car mess up their clothes (its after hours so only salesmen are left AKA ppl in nice suits) The car is parked crooked between an island and a spot (which I would have parked in but as mentioned above I was trying to be considerate of the salesmens clothing)
So I walk over to my car first to look at it before entering the dealership. This guy (I didnt know he worked for the dealership at the time) goes:
(There are ppl that are standing outside, I guess they came back from a test drive.)
"Sir is that your car?"
"No it Altas"
"Who's?"
"Its the dealerships, I had it as a loaner"
"Did you have to park it like that?"
"Theres a puddle there and..." I get intterupted
"Come on buddy, DO YOU have to park like that?"
At this point I really didnt care for the rudeness that he was displaying, so I got in the car and parked in the spot with the big *** puddle in it properly. As I get out he is asking why I am parking there. At this point I had no idea what this guy keeps complaining about, so I ignore him and walk inside. he kept yelling at me to give him the keys so he could park it properly.
Now there was no way I was going to give keys to someone I didnt know, while the car is under my responsibilty in WRITING. I mean he could have taken teh car and smacked against something and it would be my fault. If he didnt work at the dealership and took off with it, it would be my fault.
So I walk into the dealership and hand the keys over to the owner of the dealership, who happened to be there
.
Plain and simple, I admit that I parked poorly, but it was with good intentions and I do not think I should have been talked down to or disrespected like that. I really dont care for ppl yelling at me for now reason in front of groups of ppl.
What do you think?

Oh my, that is jokes! You sound like you took the situation very calm. If it were me, I'd be talking to the Manager or Mathew T. about this. There's probably not much they can do, but at least you have spoken your mind to management. Or better yet, stop and talk to the dude who was hassling you.
Alta has been nothing but good service to me. That's why I take my car there to do everything as oppose to closer dealerships to my house. Except Sam and Rachel owe me a car wash from my previous service.

It's still a G thang!!

I was calm up until I moved the car for him and the guy still wasnt satisfied and started yelling and [censored]. Thats when I lost it. But I spoke with Eddie in Chinese since there were other ppl in the dealership (non chinese) so I wouldnt do what the jerk of a salesmen did to me outside.

You did the right thing Roger. Just go on and brush your shoulders off. Haha!! Probably a newbie salesman anyway.

It's still a G thang!!

You did the right thing by staying cool.
But next time, you could also do one extra little thing.
Next time, you could calmly walk up to him, grab him behind the head with both hands, and then snap his head forward, while simultaneously bringing your knee up to give him a nice kneecap to the bridge of the nose. Then while he lies there moaning in a pool of his blood, you could say: "Next time you see me park here, bitch... make sure you mind your own **** business."
Then walk away calmly.
Okay... I'm just kidding. ;-)
Like I said, you did the right thing by staying cool.

Again I am gonna say I didnt keep completely cool as I did complain to Eddie about it. But I was able to keep my cool enough so to remmeber not to kill sales for Eddie by talking to him in Cantonese at least.
I am glad that at least everyone here agrees with me. I am not all high and mighty because I dropped $50Gs with them but I did not feel he needed to talk down to me like that.
