Arrow Touge.ca - April 27th Mosport DDT lapping event

hi All G35/Infiniti drivers,

We had a great success in last year track lapping events. Now 2008 season is coming, our first lapping will be on Mosport DDT.

For the 1st track day, it will be a great opportunity for newbies/beginners to bring your rides out (even your car is stock and running all season tires), we will have a longer warmup period on April 27th, and special setup for the newbies group.

April 27th Mosport DDT signup/details here

Feel free to email info@Touge.ca for any questions. Or kindly visit www.Touge.ca for all details and lapping schedule.

For last year photos, please check out Touge.ca "Media" section.

hey.. can anybody tell me if it is okay to bring my car to track when i literally JUST put my summer tires on ??

i mean.. i vaguely remebered someone told me that new set of tires need a period of time and mileage to "settle" the particles on the surface and any harsh driving in the initial phase is strongly discouraged...

please provide your expert opinions..

thanks...

yes, it is absolutely ok to put any tires on as long as there are still threads and not seeing any steel belts.

It is always ok to run new tires, just make sure you don't drive them too aggressive on the track at the beginning.
