The team in reality was written off about half way through the season anyway with record man games lost to injuries of our best players. Next year should be great for Oiler fans methinks. All jokes aside, lets hope ANY Canadian team can bring the cup home.

Completely agree. Edmonton had a brutal year with injuries and they did very well making it close coming down the stretch. Like you, I think the Oil will do well next year.

Edmonton gave it a really good run the last month or so and has a lot of new talent. It's a shame they missed the playoffs, but it's certainly no surprise. Hopefully Calgary will do well in the Western conference.
