Comparing to you westerners, we cant complain here in ontario (toronto region).

i dont know, way i look at it, i try to be positive and not let it get to me. I like how intGr8r put it, i'm the same way. If i need gas, i fill it and ignore the price. My nerves are not worth the extra few cents a litre to worry about it.

I figure I'll go out one less time to a restaurant/bar/club every other month or so to offset what i pay extra in the G for gas. The good days are over. I'll save where i can, but on my car, which i enjoy on a daily basis, i will not be cheap and drive a Prius.

Just saw it at $1.189/L for regular here in Calgary - same station had diesel at $1.219. Whatever, just pony up.

Your only option is to drive less or bin the guzzler and buy an Eccccccho.

I think it is time for the Infiniti people to come out with a Infiniti G-Hybid, now wouldn't that be a lot of fun.

It's like fighting city hall, you may not like it but you know you can't win.
I never have really looked at the price either. Most of the time I don't know what it is until someone posts this stuff up and I go checking.

We just completed a detailed home budgeting process for planning purposes. What I noticed is how much gas the G uses compared to the wife's grocery getter.

I dont look I just buy. They rape you bad for Premium in Sylvan Lake All the damn boats take premium so its a licence to gouge. Usually if I driving the car I am going into RedDeer so its $1.2ish/L. But its at the point I dont want to drive my car because I have a company fuel card for my truck. They might catch on if I was running the high test.

While I like the idea of a hybrid or full electric vehicle, they need to seriously improve the batteries before I sign up. The processes to smelt the raw materials, the waste, and what do you do with them in 18 months when they don't hold a charge anymore?

Some posted up a paper here a while back written by a U.S. university about the environmental impact of a hybrid compared to a Hummer H2. Interesting read.
