Lightbulb Saving Money on Gas vs. Credit Cards

so the other gas prices thread inspired the creation of this one. I'm sure we all agree the downside of driving a G (or similar car) is the amount of gas it goes through, especially when you're putting in 91/94 octane.

This may help others if you're not doing one of these already, but what are the ways you can put a few cents/dollars back in your pocket when filling up each time?? There's a few credit cards via petrol companies that are available that allow you to fill up and save each time.

1. Petro Canada Citi Mastercard http://www.citibank.com/canada/cards...view_petro.jsp
save $0.02/litre at Petro Canada

2. Shell Mosaik Mastercard
http://www3.bmo.com/mosaik/perform_bridge_shell
save up to 5% (premium card) or 2.5% (no fee card) on all your gas purchases at Shell

any others.......?????

I'm actually applying for the Shell Mosaik Premium card as I go through $70/week in gas

3.5 cents off/litre at Safeway with a Safeway card, additional 3.5 each time you buy $35 in grocs. 7 cents off every fill; they sell 91 which I always use. Plus we buy grocs and gas on Air Miles Amex, and use that for stuff/travel.
