I guess Toyota thinks that they sell the best cars in the world and they are doing customers a favour by selling their bland, soulless buckets to them.

Wow, they sure didn't step up for that poor guy.....They took advantage of his poor condition and language barrier and prevented him from knowing what happened and seeing his car.....
Anyone else would have been all over them for details of the delay and the car.

That kind of treatment won't win them any business.

yeah im disappointed to see that. The service advisors treated me with so much care there when i had a celica alltrac and a celica gts after that. My parents purchased their past 3 cars from there. Well good thing the people responsible got exposed, that guy didnt deserve the treatment..if anything they should be making the claim not him, the car is in their care when it is being serviced!

Very unprofessional. You have to know something like that would get from the technician and service writer to the service manager and then to the general manager. That place stinks from the top down.

A responsible dealership interested in customer service would offer him a loaner and a great deal on a replacement.

I can't imagine the amount cases that aren't reported to the media.

I wonder if dealerships are regulated and have to conform to some sort of standard, ala restaurant industry.
