Alignment Done ... Yes @ Simone!

Guys,

I finally bit the bullet and left work about 40 min early this past Monday to drive up to Simone Performance and got my alignment done!

Justin (the young guy) worked on my car and did a pretty decent job on getting my "toe-in" back to spec. It was quite off!

I finally got to see what my actual camber is. I'm running -3 Degrees on all 4 corners! But I specifically instructed them not to adjust it otherwise my 20's will fender-rub! Plus I love the way the "G" handles with this setup!

Vic got a huge kick out of the report when he saw it!

The "G" runs like a champ! I'm glad I listened to you guys and went to Simone!

-E

What's the offset on your rims?

I remember you telling me since its an "x" the tires will rub.

Are you running any spacers?

B.

Yeah ... it's definitely because I have an aggressive offset. I always hated that look where rims don't look flush with the rest of the car and give that "pushed in" feeling.

If I remember correctly, I'm running a +35 Offset with my 8.5inch wide 20's, when paired with my current suspension setup (Eibach Pro-Kit on stock G35x Struts) comes really really close to rubbing. I can basically fit a small asian finger between the tire and the fender at full passenger capacity!

Looks great though!!

Note to the 'other' Eric:
Yes, I would definitely wait till your rims are on ... but I wouldn't worry as much since the coupe has the capacity for more aggressive Offsets!!

Glad to hear it work out with Vic.

I have to book some alignment time with him, once my coilovers come in.

.....I just can't imagine handing the keys back with this one;
I've put a little work into the ol' F-150 since it'll now take more of the summer DD duties.
So, yeah... that's the game plan (right now)

Can't say I blame you. That's good about the F150. Probably a good idea to keep working it for a while longer when they don't depreciate that much more.

My game plan (right now) is to keep the G.

How much was the alignment? I have no idea where to go to get a "good one" done.
