Car Rental Agency

I am heading to Fort Lauderdale / Miami in May and will be renting a vehicle. So far I have done a little research and it looks like 'Payless Car Rental' seems to have lowest prices. I've never used payless but the prices are just flat out cheap. Has anyone used them? Any other recommendations?

Note: I'm 23, payless charges 15/day for U25 rentals, where as Alamo charges 35/day.

I never heard of them, but just make sure you compare coverage and stuff. Sometimes a company will tack on charges, such as mileage, or some ancilliary insurance charges so go through the billing with them before you sign.

Another thing, I thought I rented cheap once from some place and then when I went to return the car (it was around 1p on a Sunday) there was nobody there to return the car to. They tried to charge me for an extra day and I had to fight it out with them, since it was them who didn't staff the location and they had told me that I could return it at that time.

So just watch out for the little things. Far as I know, the rental market is pretty competitive when you start going with the little guy.

Drive safe.
