As Christian said. He was going to be away for 3-4 days. He's been on a lot just before that.

Nippy here first thing at -2 but it's already +3 and rising quickly. Beautiful and sunny and for a change no wind at all!

Hey guys, thanks for noticing my absence. We have been away a week.

As Christian said my daughter from England has been at job interviews in Toronto and we were babysitting our grandaughter at the Delta Chelsea in Toronto for them, then we all came to Peterborough to visit their Great Grandparents.
Weather has been great, 27C yesterday with clear skies all week.
My dayghter and her hubby are flying to Calgary today where they have interviews this week, then to Banff for some R&R.

Leaving Peterborough now, be back home tonight.

I missed a week of G-news But we had a great time with ourcompany .

See you tonight.

Is there any chance on getting you up for a round while you are down this way?
Golf. [sigh.......] is not a happy subject for me right now.

But, I know what you mean about a timid swing & no follow through......
I fought that the entire week in Nassau this year.
My back has been a real problem & I think subconsciously, I was trying to protect it.
When I figured it out (last round of the week) I picked up 10 stokes.

I've actually got my equity share in my club up for sale right now, due to this ongoing back problem.
With this damn back, I can't practice to keep the game in shape & I can't play enough to make the club worthwhile.
Once a week is max that the back can handle... soooo, sadly I'm giving up the club.

It really would be nice to get a round in together, but I'd be completely lost w/o my own sticks.

^^ Hey man, what's wrong with your back??? Do you have back problems due to an injury or is it something else. I know how a bad back can mess up your entire life. I had severe back problems for a while, but have it under control now. The key to a good back is to have a strong core, and to stretch and slowly repair the damage.

^^ yeah.. it's from an old injury.
Building core strength, that's the program I'm on.
It's definitely improving... time will tell.

^good stuff Ian. I had some real back issues quite a few years ago that nearly got me into surgery. I got it under control with strengthening, stretching and keeping my weight down and haven't had problems now for at least 10 years.

Hope you get it resolved soon.

Just don't fall off the wagon like me. After Christmas I stopped going to the gym for about 2 months. I was carrying all that holiday weight till I started to have slight back pains, now I am back at the gym 3 times a week. Keep it up and you should be pain free

Yikes, you got snow today
There is no way my daughter and son-in-law will accept jobs in Calgary when they see weather like that. They arrived there yesterday, and will be there all week.
I want them to move back to Canada, but that will not impresss them
