A Great Spring Day

It was another beautiful warm and sunny day here in the Maritimes. The temp in the G got up to 21C while going for a nice cruise today. I ended up getting the summers on this morning, giving it a good wash, and then going for a nice drive along the river with the sunroof open.

This afternoon I went to the driving range at the golf course and picked up a club for the first time since I blew my knee out. I wore my knee brace just in case and the first couple of dozen swings were extremely cautious ones. I wouldn't say that my knee felt 100% swinging the club, but it felt pretty darn good. the course will be opening within the next 2 weeks so I think I will be ready.

Tomorrow is supposed to be another beautiful day so it will be time to put on the new grille again on the G.

Btw, hopefully you southern Alberta folks will be getting some good weather as well very soon.

There isn't much to see of the course this time of year, however this is my club's website. The designer of my course is Donald Ross, who also designed some famous courses like Pinehurst #2, Oakland Hills, and Seminole.

Much the same here, Shane.....great weather....We've had fun in the yard making it ready for the summer and enjoying walking the kids.

Yeah, good stuff Shane. It's been a great spring so far!

To you westerners....good luck with the crap on the way. Better times are close at hand.

Ian, since you are a golfer.......man was my swing ever timid today. The first couple of dozen swings weren't even complete swings since I was reluctant to fully follow through. By the end of it though, I was coming around and gaining more confidence with each swing. I am pretty sure I will be ready within 2 weeks, but we'll see. Is there any chance on getting you up for a round while you are down this way?

Btw, since I've been back from the DR I don't recall seeing Wayne on the forum. Can anyone confirm that everything is ok with him and K?
