Yeah, sucks, cuz it just started a couple months ago. Didn't know the problem went all the way back to '03.

PIAA don't make the Sport Mesh in 19", but you can get similar rims from other companies in 19 and 20.

My car is having the same problem, Hyatt Infiniti of course tells me they've never heard of this issue on any Infiniti vehicle.

Wow, thats the first one I have heard about on the 2nd gen also. I never heard of any problems on our generation G35.

When my low fuel warning light comes on I can only get about 42L in before it starts pouring down the side of my car. It did this a couple times in November, then started up again recently. Very annoying.

Assuming there is still 3 gallons in the tank when the light comes on (from what I've read in other threads), that means that the maximum my car will hold is approximately 14.65 gallons instead of 17 gallons (86%).

^ yep, i hear you. i had my shutter valve assembly replaced under warranty but i still don't think everything works properly.

when i fuel up, "topping-off" 5-10 clicks, the gas gauge needle still doesn't quite reach full. this is even after i've overflowed fuel a couple of times. very annoying. i can't tell if i'm ever 100% full, or if the shutter valve is screwing around again.

every other car i've owned shows more than full after fueling up.

i get the problem occasionally, though i found that reducing the flow rate allows you to fill up. though it is SLOW. took me about 10 minutes to fill up last time. (made it over a week on the tank though, sweet!)

only happens once in a while for me.

I remember coming across a weird problem once...maybe it's this valve thing you guys are talking about up there^, not sure...I remember I filled up once (fully), but the needle in my car was only showing 3/4 full? It only happened once though...

And actually, just yesterday, I was filling up and gas started to spill out like crazy out of my gas tank. Like a waterfall. I think (well, I hope) the gas pump's handle was bad (as in no clicks were made).
