What rpm are you guys shifting at?
I usually average 450-500 (WOT here and there) depending on what gas station i fill up at
Well I have AT and I basically just drive the speed limit. Use cruise control on long stretches of road, drive the speed limit everywhere, easy on the tip-in, don't brake hard, anticipate red lights etc. etc. It's worth driving slow to get more out of your tank, especially since gas prices are on the rise.

i tried being conservative anticipating red lights, rolling starts etc...doesn't really matter our cars drink gas and we going to get raped at the pumps anyways

i find it weird that my friend bought a 05 bmw 545i (v8!) and he gets better gas mileage then us, his tank is also 60ltr he gets roughly 600km and 750-800 if he drives conservative WTF!!!!

time to switch to a V8?

I just did a road trop this weekend, my gas light turned on at 570kms and that about 65% hwy and the rest city! I still have about 50-75 kms left in it. I by no means drive slowly!

'05 coupe with 75000kms.

I just filled up this morning and had 639 KMs on the tank with the DTE showing 23 KMs left. I drive about 70% highway and 30% city.

Oh, and our regular here is now $1.36.

Filled up two weeks ago with $60 of Ultra 94...375km when the low fuel light came on.
This week, I downgraded to Ultra 91, also $60...325km when the light came on. I usually don't let the tank get that low but wanted to do an accurate comparison between different octane.

Driving hwy 85% of the time.

99% of the time, I'm using 94:biggthumpup

My last two fill ups...

May 28th...Ultra 94/ $60 @ $1.433/L...367km(41.870L)

June 1st...Sunoco 91/ $60 @ 1.387/L...343km(43.260L)

What was the price per L at that time, or how many L did the $60.00 get you?

I am hearing from certain friends that Sunoco 91 and 94 yield them their best ranges, whiles I have found it personally to give me my worst mileage on my old VQ maximas.

Shane I think our driving habits are similar since I usually get in that range myself. I always use 91
Our regular is $.10 a L cheaper than yours.

Too bad you didn't have it in the winter out there.
Was it a 1st or 2nd Gen ? It sure wouldn't be as nimble as your coupe, the way you have it set up.

I get about 500-550 a tank, mix of city and highway, 05 6MT Coupe with 29,500mi on it (47,200km). I always run Ultra94, but I'm beginning to think that I am hurting fuel economy by doing this. I'm going to run 91 V-Power at Shell next time and see what happens.

Just did a tune up. Filled up with Shell 91 as usual. I'll post mileage when the light comes on.

An '08 with 1200 kms on it. It has a bit more power but the tranny has to work to get into the right power band compared to mine. Brakes work nice but overly sensitive at low speeds. Throttle tip is also too sensitive. Handling is crisp but grip noticeably less at the limit than the coupe. It's much quieter both engine/road noise and more refined/softer. Much better NVH.
