If there is a car show on the 24, I don't mind changing my vote to May 31.

 

I've gotta say that I'd prefer a Saturday meet if we're cruising to Sylvan Lake.

 

Saturday is better for me too, I'll be up most of Saturday night helping run a casino for my kids' school.

 

Does anyone think we'll be able to put away our snow tires before the May meet?

 

I hope so my car has been stranded in Edmonton for a week now I hope I can get it home before May!

Ya, with the crazy weather we are having, I do not feel comfortable taking off my winter tires.
I use my car for work and I need to be safe.
I don't want to get stuck in a ditch somewhere on a County road in the middle of no where.

The lows in the long term forecast are barely above 0. Which is a concern if old man winter decided to hit us with another snow storm.

 

I'd most likely look at the 31st. DTP as people mentioned, as well as the Rainmaker rodeo.

Looks like we're still 2:1 for Saturday May 24th. Gord, if you are still okay with that day, I think we should finalize it. Wish we had more people signed up, time to do some PMing.

 

I CAN NOT do the 24th I have to drop my car off for DTP and then have a wedding that afternoon/night.

 

Damn, too bad, but I know **** happens.

So gang, do we want to:

- go ahead with that day, improvise a BBQ in the parking lot or hit a restaurant after, OR
- pick a new day; I might be able to make the 31st since we'll probably be in Lacombe for my ma-in-law's birthday anyway

my car goes in the shop on may 20 for a week or so. later the better for me now.

 

Should be out for 30/31st if things go well.

 

What about June?
